Ali Arnett, CDP
Geriatric Care Manager

Ali has loved elders her entire life, starting with a closeness to her grandparents.  She volunteered at the “Pineville Rest Home” in North Carolina in High School. Her love of healthcare led her to become a CNA in college. Once she graduated, she pursued a career in property management, but was always drawn to the seniors in her communities. She decided senior living was a better fit and spent many years happily helping families find the best fit for their loved ones. Most importantly, she was blessed to spend time with her residents or “all the gramma and grandpas,” as her son used to call them.

Over those years, her focus was advocating for her beloved seniors and educating their families. She facilitated support groups of various types for 15 years. During those years she trained at the Alzheimer’s Association, served on the board for the Walk to End Alzheimer’s in Athens, and on the Coalition for Seniors. Ali loves public speaking and has been a guest speaker at various Civitan and Rotary Clubs, Pilot Club, senior centers and many churches on topics from dementia, home health, hospice and more. She has most recently served as a hospice specialist to assist patients and their families with the support they need due to serious illness.

Over time, Ali has become a resource for navigating the healthcare system. She also hosts a YouTube channel “Ali Answers” to support seniors and family caregivers with information and tips.

In her free time, she loves spending time with her goldendoodle Truman and her son, Weston. She enjoys writing, reading, sewing and spending time with friends.
