Cathy began her journey in health care after receiving a BSN from The Ohio State University in 1980. She worked at the Ohio State University Hospital until the birth of her first child in 1985. She did not return to the workforce until her 2 children were in school full time in 1999. At that time, she was given the opportunity to manage a country club which is where she discovered her love for seniors. In working with the diverse membership of the clubs that she managed she learned that she always seemed drawn to the older adults. She loved their stories and even their challenges.

When Cathy decided to move to the south in 2016 to be closer to her son and his family, she began her pursuit of a career working with seniors. She accepted a position with Holiday Retirement at Smoky Springs, an independent living community in Gainesville, Ga. Cathy spent the next 8 years as Executive Director at Smoky Springs.

Cathy is excited to embark on the next phase of her journey, joining Premier Care Management felt like the most natural choice. It offers her the wonderful opportunity to directly engage with the seniors and families she holds dear, granting her the freedom to make a meaningful impact in their lives.
